Alex UXBRIDGE
Alex Uxbridge had a career in art publishing before turning to painting professionally in his late thirties.
He has had successful one-man shows in London galleries roughly every two years since the beginning of the century.
Having grown up in Anglesey at his ancestral home, Plas Newydd, he continues to paint the Welsh and English landscape.
Other subjects include interiors and exteriors from Mediterranean travels, flowers and gardens.
The paintings are all beautifully observed and rendered in lively expressive oil paint.
